    Mascara and Monsters Reviews Melbourne Show

    Mascara and Monsters wrote up a great review of the Melbourne show, saying:

    Openers Blaqk Audio – the electro frenzy dreamed up by Davey Havok and Jade Puget of American band AFI – produced some pulsing and addictive synth throbs and beats that were held up at the seams by frontman Havok, who is clearly deft to on-stage theatrics and his voice is strangely suited to the overlay of seductive bass lines provided by Puget.

    FasterLouder.com Reviews Canberra Show

    FasterLouder.com reviewed the Canberra show and had some positive remarks regarding Blaqk Audio, saying:

    Support act, Blaqk Audio slickly vamped the crowd for the opening of the tour. As the electronic side project of AFI’s frontman Davey Havok and guitarist Jade Puget, it was the duo’s first time playing outside of the United States under the new name. Despite the change, Blaqk Audio’s sound was still familiar to fans, with Havok’s distinguished arcane vocals and sombre lyrics. The crowd were instantly enticed by the synthesised act along with Havok’s fluorescent theatrics on stage, gripping fans with amazing lighting to accompany the set. With their last song, Blaqk Audio payed their respects and prepped the venue for the act to come.

    LIVE POST: Blaqk Audio Kicks Off Their AUS Tour in Canberra

    Tonight is the first night of Blaqk Audio’s Australian tour with Evanescence! We will do our best to bring you live updates from the Royal Theatre in Canberra tonight, but unfortunately we do not have a correspondent for this show. If you are attending, please tweet us @BlaqkNews with any updates if possible.

     Current time in Canberra

    7:00: The doors have opened, and Blaqk Audio is expected to take the stage at 8:05, according to this website. 
    8:00: “Blaqk Audio @BlaqkNews has jumped into the audience at the Royal Theatre”

     

    8:55: Blaqk Audio has ended their set. No word on the setlist or any pics/vids yet, so stay tuned.
