Davey on Broadway

American Idiot The Musical is a Broadway musical based on Green Day’s 2004 rock-opera album of the same name. It first opened on April 20th, 2010. It has been a huge success and has won numerous awards including two Tony Awards for Best Scenic Design of a Musical and Best Lighting Design of a Musical.

It was announced February 9th in a Yahoo! article, that Davey would be taking over Billie Joe Armstrong’s role of St. Jimmy beginning March 1st for a two-week run. Since the announcement, Davey has done multiple interviews regarding his new role.
