I still hear “good god.” though i don’t know if its “and you were looking like a good god.” which would make more since in the statement itself, and Mr. Havok just sang it that way for the novelty of the exclamation that it could be.

And I just can’t hear the other two well enough to understand what it is supposed to be. I can kind of hear what’s been suggested but it still doesn’t flow right to me. The second verse part sounds like one word to me, and as Mr. Havok has a far larger vocabulary then myself, I can’t imagine what that word could be.

Yeah, I think you’re right about “The lash is tired.” And I think “and you will look like a new god” is close, but there’s an extra syllable in there… maybe it’s “and you will look and like a new god”?

I thought it was “arrived” as opposed to “a rhyme”

I don’t know if that’s right, but there’s obviously the word “like” in there…
Also…I’m hearing, “The sacred ways set aflame…” 
It makes more sense as a lyric…

I would say it’s “The lash is tied”  as that makes more sense than tired….  Though with Davey, can anyone ever truly be sure?  *smiles*
