The ? sounds like razors/racers, but pretty sure it’s something else. Rest seems to be spot on in my opinion.

But other than that this all sounds right to me. And I also don’t know about the racers/razors part. My guess was “I couldn’t speak t you, it might hurt my racer’s heart” and “These words seem obscene now in the light to the racers’ hearts.”

I’m confident that these are they lyrics, except for the razor part, because no word that would make sense sounds like what he says there.  Looks like most people have some of the same ideas.  It’s either gonna be “racer’s” “erasure”  “razor” or least likely “racist” haha

Alright guys, I think I’ve figured it out. First of all, it’s important to notice that all the songs on this album are from a character from the game speaking to Batman. Some are obvious (e.g. “Deranged” is the Joker, “Creature” is most likely Catwoman, “Trophy Widow” sounds a lot like it has to be Poison Ivy), while others are more difficult to decipher; and I have some ideas about the others, but I’m not sure.

Now for this song, after listening to it a few times (with my brother as assistance), and looking at everyone’s proposed lyrics, I believe this one is from Robin to Batman. It didn’t seem like it at first, but when you consider the way Batman always refuses his help, it seemed a bit more likely. Then add on that this is from someone who is with him both during the night and the day, saying that they have nothing to talk about “come the sun, when it’s done” because by that time the words are “far too stark”, it all makes sense. And it implies that they are also distant during the day, which is accurate by the animated series and movies and comics (most of them). Also, “the words mean nothing ’til they turn to fire” I assume means that it’s not important to talk until a heated situation arises. And obviously, they both become someone else “afterdark”.

Now, this is all so important hear because this solves our missing word problem. While it certainly sounds like he could be saying “racer’s heart” or “razor’s heart”, neither of those make sense. If this is Robin talking to Batman, the lines make sense as “I couldn’t speak to you, (because) It might hurt my RAISER’S heart.” Batman raised Robin, and while Robin is always wanting to help (“I wanted to help you”), or take charge and call the shots, he often has to hold his tongue because he doesn’t want to offend Batman, his raiser and leader.

So, here they are, I believe to be 100% correct:
