Jade: “I’d like to put out another Blaqk Audio record this year”

In the LIVE 105 interview with Miles the DJ, Jade mentioned that he would like to put out another Blaqk Audio record this year due to the amount of music the band has completed. Davey mentioned that they will be touring for the album and that they are looking forward to the Blaqk Audio cycle until AFI starts up again.

Sounds awesome but I don’t see it happening. New AFI stuff is likely to happen soon and you know they will get wrapped up in that. I mean, if it was up to the members only… It could happen. But their label would want full dedication and there is no way they can do that with new AFI too.

Anyways, Mary or anyone else… Did you by any chance figure out what the BBH Special Edition coming out in Oct on Amazon is?

AFI doesnt havent a label yet though lol. The music is already done for another album, it’s possible for them to just release it and continue to promote both albums on tour throughout the spring.

The Vinyl will have Mouth To Mouth, other than that we don’t know whats on the Limited.

Ah. I’m just going to hold off buying the album then. The Limited version may have a bonus track or two. I hated what they did with Cexcells. Had to buy the album 4 times :-

I really want them to release Down Here. I also would like to here a studio version of This Is. Maybe Jade is talking about an EP as opposed to a third full album. I can definately see BA releasing an EP with 4-5 songs on it even during an AFI cycle.

Superball must be ecstatic to sign on a group that already had a fan base and 30+ songs recorded and ready to go on an album lol! It pretty much means that a 3 album deal is a guarantee. I really hope that Davey and Jade got a good end to the deal too.
