Lars Stalfors Added to Producer Team

The new UK pre-order revealed a new detail about the production of the album. While we already knew CexCells producer Dave Bascombe and Michael Patterson were working on the album, we now know that Lars Stalfors has joined the talented team.

The pre-order description read, “The new record offers twelve songs inspired by their shared love for classic electronic groups and modern era dance music. ‘Bright Black Heaven’ finds Blaqk Audio working again with Dave Bascombe, mixer of ‘CexCells’. Bacombe, who counts Depeche Mode and Erasure among the bands with whom he has collaborated, and joins forces on Bright Black Heaven with fellow mixers Lars Stalfors (The Mars Volta), and Michael Patterson (Trent Reznor).”

Stalfors has previously worked with Matt and Kim, Reel Big Fish and Funeral Party among others.
