KROQ Interview with Davey and Jade – Part 2

The second part of the KROQ interview is now up on the radio station’s website.

When asked about the theme of Bright Black Heaven, Davey said:

“Generally, lyrically it’s similar to CexCells in that it’s very sexually charged,” “It deals with sexual scenarios of different sorts, of various cases and people and environments. It’s rather hedonistic in scope, for the most part.”

Davey added that they recorded “20 or 30” songs during the Bright Black Heaven sessions, and that some of them will “hopefully” be released in the future, or even on their next full-length album.
