Great song, dancey I hope some of the other songs are a bit different, because this one is quite similar to some CexCells songs.

Reminds me alot of On a Friday. I like Ill Lit Ships more personally, but this is still awesome. I tend to like Blaqk Audio’s darker and more techno rock esque songs.

I would rather their album be more like CexCells. At least I’d know they haven’t done something totally different and sound horrible, you know?

If by more like CexCells you mean, Snuff on Digital, Mute, Bitter for Sweet, Stiff Kittens, Blaqk Electric and Cities of Night then yes. Don’t get me wrong I like all the dancey techno club songs too, but what really sets Blaqk Audio apart in my opinion are the former rather than the later. Bitter for Sweet gave me chills the first time I heard it.

The thing is, I love both parts of BA. I tend to like the dancier songs more, but Cities of Night & Bitter for Sweet are still my all time favorites. What I don’t like are the songs that try to be both, like Between Breaths.

A great song.

But a small discrepancy in the lyrics.
Rather than:
“If they want this dance, I wouldn’t mind.
They just might enhance my lovely time.”

I’m hearing:
“If they watch us dance, I wouldn’t mind.
They just might enhance our lovely time.”

Any thoughts on that?

Oh here we go again with the self righteous crap. Thanks to this website we can actually hear the newly released BA songs. If not for this website the large majority of us would have to wait to the album comes out before we hear ANY of the new songs. Mainstream radio isn’t playing this. Drew is not making it a download that you can get for your computer and Ipod. When the album comes out I will buy it to support the band. When they perform in concert I will go and buy a T-shirt. So its not like they won’t make their deserved money. Im sure the majority of the fans on this site feel the same way.

I love it! I love how Blaqk Audio’s songs seem to tell a story in each one; more than in AFI anyway. Might just be how I hear them though.

But still, it’s amazing song. And although the lyrics are kind of simple, I love them. The message of “who cares who’s watching you” is really nice to hear.

All in all, very dancey, very good, and very repeatable. C:

I really love this song – much better then Ill Lit Ships imo. Makes me want to dance. Can’t wait to hear the record and hopefully see it live. BA shows are sooooo much fun <3

I think its awesome! I don’t know about better then ships, i like the creepier more moody songs. Hopefully they have a good balance of fast and slow ones like cexcells.

All the songs are fantastic! Davey and Jade have done a great job with channeling their industrial side, again, and it will be fun seeing them live with all the material they have now from both cd’s.

this is one of my faves of blaqk audios album! And i have to say thanks BA and afi becasue you’ve completley inspired my to write songs for both music genres of electronica and alternitve, and i hope to meet you guys one day! sadly i dont live in CA, but MI. I’ll continuue to write songs, all thanks to you guys! i cant say it enough!
