Davey and Jade Never Intended to Record Blaqk Audio

I was graced with AFI all these years, so I could live without if I had never heard. Yet, I have heard, I have experienced, and now I could never, ever let this go. If it ends suddenly one day, I would understand, and hold this close. I am grateful they did this, and exponentially so. It never was a detriment to AFI, only a very beautiful creation of accompaniment. No Blaqk Audio. That thought is destructive.

Considering how completely and irreversibly the snap decision to buy Cex Cells changed the course of my life, I can’t even imagine what life right now would be like if they hadn’t recorded it.  I would have never gone into the amazing EDM scene here in Denver, never had the chance to meet so many friends through that.  Worst of all, I probably would never have met the love of my life whom I simply can’t live without at this point.  When I bought it based on the “Davey and Jade from AFI” sticker on the wrapper, there’s simply no way I could have seen it changing my life so completely.  I owe about 90% of my current happiness to that one moment.

I’m so very glad they chose to go forward with the side project.
It was meant to be, whatever that spark was that ignited their desire to venture onward. <3
